You can't get much closer to the beach than at this elegant Five Star Diamond Award–winning establishment, where diners can watch gentle waves lap the sand from their candlelit tables. Peruse the distinctive menu, then begin your meal with one of chef Angelina Ramos's culinary masterpieces, which include a combination of macadamia nut–breaded eggplant and oysters sautéed in white wine, fresh herbs and blue cheese as an appetizer, or the crab cake cookies. The soup and salad also dazzle: Try the lobster and mango bisque or a fried cheese dumpling in pumpkin seed crust served over lettuce leaves. Vegetarians will love the creamy risotto with asparagus and mushrooms flavored with truffle oil. House specialties include mesquite-grilled Angus beef prepared to your liking, as well as lamb and veal chops, venison, and jumbo lobster tail. Fresh seafood options include shrimp, fish, and even crawfish. Pair these culinary works of art with world-class wines, and you'll know you have dined well. The trilogy of flavored crepes with nut ice cream is the perfect ending. Wine tasting events take place on Thursday evenings.
